Hope everyone has enjoyed their summer and the great weather we had! I suppose that depends on where you live geographically, but nonetheless we hope you had some good times. :)

As most of you know, Warhammer has set an official release date of September 18th, with open beta starting on Sep 7th. Mythic Entertainment is the developer (same company that did DAOC which some claim to have had some of the best pvp they've played). Some Verity members have already been in various phases of beta and everyone is saying really good things about what they have seen so far. For now we are going to be playing Warhammer and giving it a go as a guild. Those of us who have pre-ordered will be playing open beta and of course will be qualified to do the early head start (I think its 3 days early).

I want to point out that this does not mean we will not be playing Wow again. In fact, most of us plan on trying out the xpac, so at the least we will be re-runiting then if not beforehand depending on how Warhammer goes. Those of us that tried AoC know that a game can be hyped and end up not being what it was cracked up to be, or even finished for that matter...

We have much higher hopes for Warhammer and many have been waiting years for its release. After speaking with those in beta and others interested in playing via discusssions in vent and mostly discussions in IRC, we have decided that Verity will officially be going Order. For those of you who do not what that means, it is basically Order vs Destruction (Good vs Evil just like Alliance vs Horde in wow), and Order is good. It seems like a lot of people are going Destruction, so us Order folk should have quicker queue times to participate in the RvR (Realm vs realm) Scenarios.

Here's a roll call thread on the forums to see who is interested in playing Warhammer at or near release and what career they will be choosing. Of course its not set in stone, but we want to get an idea of what we have going in.

As we have always been a casual gaming guild focused on its quality members and camaraderie, we hope to see most of you back with us in Warhammer to have some fun times again. Quests, Dungeons, PvP, oh MY! If you end up not playing, no worries; we'll hope to join up again in WOTLK or another game down the road.
